Wellingtons for Winter: 2013 - 2014 Fashion Trend
Wellingtons have been around for MANY DECADES and this undying fashion item is back in fashion, in perfect timing with the season change.
Wellingtons are fashionable and EVERY girl should have a pair or TWO of these boots. Found in many different shades of colour there are even MEN Wellingtons, though I havent seen them in stores yet, they are a MUST HAVE!

TSA - Joburg State Of Mind (JSOM) Remix
Nearly 6months ago I came across the very talented and authentic rapper/lyricist, The Silent Assassin -TSA- and around about that time he had just released his first music video "Joburg State of Mind". 6 months down the line, he's released his second viral video JSOM Remix where he's featured another artist "Stilo Magolide".
In this video, shot in the streets of Braam and Joburg Central, the artists speak about the life of a hustler: trying to make it, the 'survival games' and emphasize what it is to be real.

Conclusion:
Vele Vele to some it ALL UP, Thube EVENTUALLY arrived, we got rained on but Tenji MANAGED to situate things and well of course us being her "wingmen" held candles and did what other single ladies do, wish and crave!!
The taxi ride home was also an epic experience: We learned that taxi drivers can actually be really nice and funny :) Lol
That ultimately become the cherry on top for our day.
Moral of this story:
We got tested that afternoon on whether or not we're true good friends and how far our friendship stretched. WE SACRIFICED our afternoon for our girl where we could have been easily studying doing assignments and stuff that every Matric Student should be busy with.. which is basically just procrastinating and putting sooo many things off.
Friends stick together through high days, and dry days.. sad days, exciting days, LEVEL 20 THIRST days.. EVERY-DAYS, whatever the one goes through, we experience it together. And if you, having read this, can't recall that ONE time you did something for a friend without wanting anything in return, then you might just want to reevaluate your friendship because there's nothing more priceless than contributing to a friend's happiness.

A day in 2014 never to be forgotten p3
Continued:
The Sun is out, the birds are singing and we're in the middle of this busy day trying to get to Wits to watch what is left of the game and to chill, you know :)
Chanty and Tenji decide to pull a "Google Maps" situation, assuming which road and turn to make. We cross over into Empire Road and walk straight up past some business school with tenis courts and what looks like a hockey field. We're hearing some cheers, music and beat dropping. Tulya is getting excited: finally something goes right in her life, she thought! :D .. Only to find out that it isnt WITS and that we've left it RIGHT behind us.
Im sure your thinking, how can we be Joburgers, yet alone people that live AROUND the area and still not know where Wits is. Well thing is we were actually looking for the Education Campus because that's where the match was supposedly happening. Man I'm feeling myself sober up from irritation.. Mind you that time 3 of us are buzzed and have NO IDEA where we going.. Toolz(Tulya) was as good as being useless as we all were.
Cool we get to A WITS campus, make our way up this loooong drive way, passed security and hai no we realize that we're in the wrong campus. Tenji contacts Thube like "yo wassup, where are you? coz we're are here".
Hai no we realise vele vele that we're in the wrong campus and Chanty starts talking about wanting to walk back to Bree!? WHAAT is she mad!? Talking about how she needs to get home and stuff, Tulya rates we ask for a lift from this student that was making her way to Res.
She was so nice, pity we didnt get her name!
Anyways she dropped us off by the Bus Station within Wits and told us that no fee was required.
Now we waiting.. and Waiting... AND WAITING.. when finally Thube replies and tells us we're int he wrong campus(of which we're very aware of!) and that he'll TRY come to us coz the game is nearly over.
Ahhhh.. So we chilling with Tenji trying to convince us to stay.. shame man! We were her Wingmen what else could we have done? :)
The first bus arrives and its headed to Cresta.. we're contemplating whether to take it or not; and we dont. Moments later another bus arrives headed to Rosebank, we're already in line and have decided that "You know what!? Fvck this niggah, we're outtah here" kind of mentality.
As we're in line, Tulya starts freaking out about what if we get arrested for taking the bus because we are not students at Wits. So that actually sunk in a for a while, and I also suggested that we dont take the bus 'cause it looked like we need student cards to swipe.
The bus leaves, we're STILL at the station standing in confusion trying to think about our next step from here. We conclude that we leave and en route to Bree to catch cab's going home.
Barely half way down the driveway, Tenji gets a text message saying she should stay and that "Im coming to fetch you, Im on the next bus there(campus)"
Ahhhh... We cross over with our heads bowed down, not wanting to be recognized by anyone, and make our way to the bus station.
