Boity's Bum

Less than an hour ago a rather controversial picture of Boitumelo Thuli, synonymously known as Boity, was leaked onto the famous Twitter and I'm sure other social media networks (with Facebook being the last to know).

The pic (seen below)  has gotten Tweeps and other members of society expressing mixed reactions. Some don't see the fault in the picture and others well, do.

Comments such as "She's such a hoe" and "Well then, Now we have our own Miley Cyrus in S.Africa and she's Boity" have been passed . I personally think its prudishness and ignorance that our people have unfortunately been "blessed" with.

The picture is not even distasteful, on the contrary, its quite artful and not erotic.

To think its all for a campaign even. Funny thing is, no one has even mentioned the other two models besides Boity in the picture, who one of them, has her right boob facing towards the camera. I wouldve thought THAT wouldve had Africans raging and passing nasty comments.

The question here is: is the picture so controversial because Boity is a celebrity OR is it controversial because Boity has guts to break this stigma of ignorance some of us has around media work in Africa and because she actually has a nice bum?
