Skin Deep

Cheri Lindsay, a college volley ball coach, suffers from a skin pigment disorder known as Vitiligo.

Many people do not know the causes of this skin disorder and have many perceptions of it such as it being 'contagious' and deadly.

Its not genetic nor is it a death penalty BUT it has become a norm in many societies where people suffering from this disease are treated as aliens and become outcasts because of their different skin.

Cheri recently shared her story on an online video where she told the world that "Nobody's 100% perfect: everyone has their flaws" and that it's up to you on whether you choose to celebrate your flaws or allow the rest of the world to make you feel inferior and sorry for how you look.

Below are images of Cheri wearing camouflage make-up as she wipes it all off and celebrates HER unique skin tone.
