So now I tackle this sordid, ugly yet so BEAUTIFUL, limitless and indefinable factor of life called Love.
“I love you.”
It’s a sentence we have ALL used at some point of our lives.. And even though you haven’t used it yet, you will when you meet someone you truly love and have ‘given your heart too’.
It’s a sentence we have ALL used at some point of our lives.. And even though you haven’t used it yet, you will when you meet someone you truly love and have ‘given your heart too’.
But today I write about what I see and hear from teens and
young adults around me and how I think they do not really understand the
true meaning of love. Yes, I’m no love doctor or some scientist that can tell you what perfect love is, or how it’s supposed to be felt, since it is
experienced in many different ways by many different people.
What sickens me though the most is that, the majority of the people I know, be it on social networking sites or
personally, confuse the concepts of DATING and BEING IN LOVE. You date
every Tom Dick and Harry you find yourself attracted too within a number of
days, and come the end of the week, YOU'RE IN LOVE? What!? O_o , is there
something I’m missing...
When have you gotten the chance to know the guy/girls habits
and learnt to live with them? When have you gotten the chance to really
UNDERSTAND the person, and see his or her good and bad side? Have you even
gotten the chance to just TALK? And not let everything be about the physical? Ha!
Within a week, a month!! You can’t possibly know everything about him/her and
claim to be IN LOVE...
Already bored with relationship... but you have told him that you LOVE him? |
All I’m simply saying is, the term ‘in love’ shouldn’t
be confused with ‘dating’ and ‘like’ if you’re going around changing partners
like your Display Picture on BBM..
Telling her you love her but when you really don't.. can mess with some ones views on relationships for good! |
Perhaps you love the person... which of course is possible but you’re not IN LOVE with
them if you have been "in love" with all your other twenty partners you say? Yeah,
twenty plus... #Looks away
The kind of love that most of us want someday is the love of which we read about, or see in movies; it lasts through all good and bad days, clear blue skies, to dark stormy nights... The two people haven’t left each other’s sides because they most definitely understand
what to love and being in love means.→→►
