fashion and today I take a look at Retro Vintage style. So days are long and
tiring, exams SLOWLY but surely coming to an end and if there’s anything you can do
or give to your self is some TLC, go SHOPPING!
Yes yes, a lot of us that are still scholars and students find it hard to get money from
our parents, but with the extra saving and cutting down on some of that
McFlurrys’s and Chocolate Brownie Avalanches we just LOVE to eat... how’s about
sticking yourself to an even greater treat, looking fabulous. Yeah, it may
sound all girly and “glammed up” but even as a guy you can do the job just as
well.
Every
fashionista, or at least a person with a passion for style has their own era.
Be it the freedom of the 60’s or the anarchy of the 80’s and hedonism of the 90’s.. We ALL
have an era we look back and wish we had fondly fashionably experienced. From
the days of Tupac with the baggy jeans and the Timberland Looking shoes (I don’t
know what they're called) and the bandanas wrapped around the guys head to
the high waist pants (jeans) our moms wore with the huge ass blazer-jackets, like
the woman in The Cosby Show wears for the girls. Its ALL coming back.. well I'm
not too sure about the bandana look and Timberland shoes but Retro fashion is
BACK.. just sad to see how little of a number of people can actually put an
outfit together and call it RETRO FASHION.. not what I daily see where guys in the
dusty streets of Johannesburg wear bright coloured blazers (jackets) a shirt and
a bow tie.. Then calling it Vintage.. NOOOO, you have got it wrong.. that’s a
combination of Colour Blocking and Vintage... May as well call it Colour
Bintage.

yes, technically is vintage style but if you want to go all out, GO ALL OUT and
do it PROPERLY. Below is a few examples of what you SHOULD be wearing and
calling retro vintage and not the sad half vintage substitutes that people are now coming up with.
My personal favourite is the second one, reminds me of Chuck Bass
